Our commiseration - and admiration for unbelievable determination - to Joe Dunster, who fell during the Ironman Austria on 8 July and broke two teeth.  She went on to finish and, amazingly, refused hospitalisation for 6 stitches until she had collected her Finishers Shirt (the trophy Ironman competitors covert).  

If you don't know what an Ironman is - beware:  Swim 2.4 miles, Bike 112 miles, Run 26.2 miles.  Russell Carter did the Austria in 13 hrs 58 mins and  Joe Dunster in 15hrs 26 mins.  

Remarkably, we have no less than *Four* Ironman in the Club - Russell Carter (several times !), Joe Dunster, Alex
Latham-Boal and Deborah Pratley.
