START / FINISH AT HARTINGTON
12 Teams took part, from 10 Clubs. Some clubs were Orienteering Clubs, some Running Club and one was the Ashbourne Rugby Club.
Ashbourne Running Club won in a total time of 10 hours 50 minutes and 14 seconds. Our gallant runners got very wet, very muddy and ran extremely hard
- to be rewarded by coming an impressive and convincing
FIRST. The competition was strong, with 12 teams in total. The
Ashbourne Rugby Club came a creditable 5th and two of our runners -
Caren Coonan and Andy Keeling - did legs for both us and them.
Holme Pierrepont A team were second in 11:17:19.
