Staged from the Duncan’s house, there was an excellent turn out of 37 runners, including some very welcome guests*, for thirty, variable-score questions about Ashbourne.  Runners were randomly drawn into groups.  Each group set off at intervals and had 45 minutes to complete the run, with penalties for late return and bonuses for early finishing. 

We are indebted to Alasdair and Claire for their brave hospitality (a house-full of 42 people !) and the excellent food they provided afterwards.

Phil Williams again supplied the challenging questions and Charles and Kathleen Pratley timed the incoming runners.  There were prizes ( courtesy of Phil, Alasdair and Claire) for the highest scoring first and second groups.

Well done the runners, regardless of score – fun is the name of the game !
