Course

Lots of fast downhills and steep climbs. The race starts east of the town with a steady climb for about a mile before levelling out for the next. Runners then tackle the Dales passing through the village of Thorpe and descend into the Valley of Ilam and then a climb to Bloor Pastures. The last part of the race is through Okeover Park before runners make their way to finish in the historic market town of Ashbourne.
